Leaving Tibet

On my last night in Tibet, I was the only foreigner in the bar and as a result, got fed quite a bit of free alcohol. I ended up sleeping on the bar's couch until someone woke me up at 5am when the place closed. Turns out I was too drunk to figure out what an alarm clock was the next morning, and I missed my train from Lhasa to Xining.

But they put me on the next train, on a hard seat instead of a hard sleeper, so that was fun. I had to stay up all night joking with the locals. It's a lot more fun than the hard sleeper, but you just end up exhausted at the end. =)

So I've left Tibet, and now have decent Internet access. Hopefully a lot of photos will make it up today.
